RTC2019＠Award Ceremony Report

As one of finale event of Rakuten Technology Conference 2019, Rakuten Technology and Innovation Award Ceremony was held to present our appreciation to impressive achievements selected by Rakuten Tech Community. This is the 12th year of the award ceremony and we were honored to welcome winners and guests to the ceremony.

We organized a voting in the whole company, and Rakuten group employees from all over the world had participated in it.

With the theme “Leaders for the future”, we were glad to present the awards to not only technology that would provide more possibilities in the future, but also those groups and individuals who had dedicated themselves to push the growth of the technology community.

Rakuten Executives were invited to present each award, and winners all gave a presentation about their products or visions.

After the ceremony, award winners were invited to an after party. We were happy to see many of attendees were able to express their appreciation to the winners directly.

The Rakuten Technology & Innovation Award will keep supporting individuals and organizations who strive to develop revolutionary technologies and promote innovation. Our goal for the award was to give the spotlights and appreciation to our winners and let more people know about their effort and achievements and also we are glad we could to give them more chance to communication with various people.

We are looking forward to seeing the winners’ achievements and encouraging all the people in the tech community.
