I'm humbled to hear the news, for I already get way too much fun out of just working on this project, and that this project isn't no longer mine alone --- I sometimes feel like I'm getting more credit than I deserve. I also wanted to send a shout-out for my awesome friends in the Japanese Jenkins community; this is one close-knit community that keeps on delivering. I hope a recognition like this would help us spread more Jenkins love to conservative companies. We'll keep on keeping on!

Thank you. It's a great honor to receive this Award. My only... well I'm very selfish. What I love to do is make software and I love to make software that other people like. My only goal in life is to make the world safe for people who like to do the same thing. It's a wonderful honor to participate and to work here in Japan and help with that. "Arigatou gozaimasu!"

Thank you for giving me such a honored award. I was not the first person to propose the foundation of both Developers Summit(commonly called "DevSumi") and Hack For Japan, and I believe that I recieved this award on behalf of all the people who have been working for these projects since we could not have continued this project without their support. At work site , or location of a disaster, I have supported developers to share their knowledge and accelerate the world to become a more creative place. I feel Rakuten is pushing my back to cheer me more by this award. I'd like to get older with members sharing the same mind and enhance "Action!" to create Eco and Smart future.
